Dan has been an expert woodcarver, furnishings maker, chairmaker, and educator since 1994. He operates a woodworking studio and small group workshop program in Rollinsford, N.H. When he isn’t educating or engaged on customized commissions or interval reproductions, Dan is normally busy in his store pursuing his ardour for conventional woodcarving. Lately, Dan was featured in two of our video workshops; Creating full-size drawings from a museum piece and Constructing a Queen Anne facet chair.
In recognition of his dedication to the artwork and legacy of interval furnishings, Dan was named the 2023 recipient of the Cartouche Award by SAPFM. He’s an energetic member of GNHW, SAPFM, and the New Hampshire Furnishings Masters.
